OneWord Safety Training
Available for CMCA Members

Word OneThe CMCA, in affiliation with Word One Safety Training Systems, is pleased to offer three new training products: a series of instructional DVDs
covering the hazards of fatigue, and eight-lesson course covering Hours of Service regulations, and a free seminar to help safety managers and owners increase the effectiveness of their safety programs.

FATIGUE - In this course you receive 12 quarterly lessons on DVD. Each lesson takes roughly 15 minutes and is designed for use by individual drivers or for delivery by safety managers at safety meetings. Topics include types of fatigue, effects of fatigue, detecting fatigue, and overcoming and preventing fatigue. Lessons feature interactive exercises and re-creations of actual fatigue-involved mishaps, and each lesson comes with a facilitator’s guide to make lesson preparation a breeze.

Word One ArtHOURS OF SERVICE – This course teaches how to follow Hours of Service regulations. Your partner for this trip is Hoss Rods, a wrangler and part-time rustler who’s determined to straighten out his life and take up truckin’. Along the way you’ll help Hoss deal with a passel of problems and a cast of misfits including Clevis, Hoss’s crooked cousin; Fred, a restaurant owner who specializes in rustled beef and sauteed jackrabbits’ ears; and Jacqueline, an inept but beautiful co-driver.

EXECUTIVE SKILLS SEMINARS -- These free seminars for safety managers and owners teach you to use a systematic, sustained approach to maximize the effectiveness of your safety program.
