The Ray Smith Scholarship was established to recognize and reward outstanding high school academic performance and overall involvement in community affairs by students and family members of the trucking industry and CMCA member companies in Colorado.

Submit three (3) written recommendations from teachers, counselors or employers. Letters should be dated, and we recommend a mixture of personal, academic and professional letters. NEW THIS YEAR: Include contact information on your letters of recommendation. If you are a current Scholarship recipient, you must send in NEW references.
In a written essay of 200 words or less, tell something about yourself and your goals. If you are a current Ray Smith Scholarship recipient, you must send in a NEW essay.

Scholarship may be used for technical or vocational education. Checks will be sent by mail to awarded applicants NOT the school, unless otherwise arranged.
Applicant MUST have a high school diploma, GED, or be a high-school graduating senior or older, who will be attending or currently attending a vocational / trade or technical school. No exceptions. Registration will be verified prior to checks being mailed.
